You guys, I'm ashamed to say it took me so long to read this book. I had started it a couple of times but never really got past the first 40 pages or so. Since I was already in a slump, I decided to give it another go and took the plunge. Check out this blurb from Goodreads, and then my review.

Anna Fox lives alone—a recluse in her New York City home, unable to venture outside. She spends her day drinking wine (maybe too much), watching old movies, recalling happier times . . . and spying on her neighbors.
Then the Russells move into the house across the way: a father, a mother, their teenage son. The perfect family. But when Anna, gazing out her window one night, sees something she shouldn’t, her world begins to crumble—and its shocking secrets are laid bare.
What is real? What is imagined? Who is in danger? Who is in control? In this diabolically gripping thriller, no one—and nothing—is what it seems.

Y'all... I'm SO glad I decided to keep pushing through this book. As I stated, I have struggled with the beginning of this book a couple times. It was a bit dry and slow moving. But once the character interaction started, the dynamics of all the different relationships (or perceived relationships, in some cases) got me HOOKED. There were times I thought I knew what had happened, but the plot twisted hard left, and back again... Even though my suspicion ended up being the correct one, the journey to get there was a wild one. If you havent already, please check this book out. Now I'm excited to find out that it is going to be made into a movie!! I can't wait π€π€π€ I give this book 4π
